Policy Not Police

 

America is the land of immigrants. The best, brightest, and most gifted of the world strive to come here; strive
to become Americans. We stand with all immigrants under the understanding that we Americans, as a nation,
have made the immigration mess in our land today.
 

It is our contention that policy and compassion, not the military and violence, provide the paths forward for
America. Policy that will allow us to continue being a beacon to the world, yet retain safety in our society and a
safe path forward for our future sisters and brothers from around the world.

While we agree criminals should be arrested and prosecuted, the vast majority of immigrants are not law-
breakers. They are people, like our ancestors, searching for a better tomorrow.
